My Journey

When I was 13, my dad gifted me a secondhand camera. He knew before I did where my path would lead. Throughout high school that camera served as my source of empowerment. If I was having a low day, I knew a photoshoot would always boost my spirits. I started asking family and friends to model for me. However, they would shrink merely at the idea of taking a photo. I took this as a challenge to empower them. The results were loved ones shocked by their own beauty and power. Thus, Sourpuss Studios was born. I want anyone in front of my lens to feel fierce, flirty, goofy, uninhibited, or like the sourpuss they are inside.
